Guided tour of some of the animal park’s highlights
The animals in a zoo are the ambassadors for their counterparts in the wilderness and for nature conservation. It is impossible to see all our animals in an hour. But we will meet a couple of very important ambassadors. You will find out about their breeding programmes, our own scientific research and several interesting aspects about these animals. Monkeys, elephants, black vultures and lions: we are doing our utmost to save them from extinction, in Planckendael ZOO as well as in their own habitat.
