The ‘Win a family VIP tour’ is a contest with an obligation to purchase in order to participate.

2. Entry is open to residents of Belgium, the Netherlands, and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, except all temporary and permanent employees of KMDA and of all promotional agencies involved, including their families (meaning all members of the same family or persons living together at the same address).

3. This contest with purchase obligation has no end date. KMDA reserves the right to end the contest at any and all times. In order to enter the contest, all of the following steps must be completed:
- Purchase an entry ticket to Antwerp ZOO and/or Planckendael.
- Go to http://www.ZOOantwerpen.be/winviptour or to http://www.planckendael.be/winviptour.
- Enter your unique ticket number, your personal details and answer the tiebreaker.
- Winners will be selected on the basis of their answers and will be notified individually by email.

4. The prizes are stated as follows: every three months one prize will be awarded, consisting of an exclusive family VIP tour (max. 12 people) in Planckendael. The date of this family VIP tour is subject to prior arrangement with KMDA. The end of the contest is determined by KMDA.

5. The organiser reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the contest in each jurisdiction separately if they are forced to do so for legal reasons or by pressing self-regulating reasons, without any right to compensation on the part of the participants.

6. The winners will be notified individually by email. Failure to confirm their personal details and the preferred date of visit within three weeks after the first reminder email results in forfeiture of the prize, and of any right to compensation in whatever form. In this case, the prize will be awarded to the second participant in the ranking.

7. By participating in this contest (i.e. by going to the contest website, entering their personal details and answering the tiebreaker) all participants confirm having read and accepted these General Terms & Conditions, including any subsequent decisions the promoter must take to guarantee the smooth running of the contest in the  case of force majeure. KMDA reserves the right to alter or amend the terms and conditions of the contest during the course of the promotional period.

8. It is not possible to participate in the contest in any other way than the one described in these General Terms & Conditions. The decisions that lead to the appointment of the winners will not be justified and are final.

9. Participants can only participate using the unique code on their entrance tickets for Antwerp ZOO and/or Planckendael within a three-month period after their visit.

10. Each participant can enter the contest only once with the unique code on the ticket. The prizes are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.

11. The prizes are not transferable to another individual by any means or transaction.

12. All visitors within the same age category are printed on the same entrance ticket. For each age category, only one entrance ticket is issued with a single unique code valid for a single entry into the contest. Therefore, different people registered on the same entrance ticket cannot enter the contest separately.

13. There will be no correspondence, neither by telephone, in writing, nor electronically or by any other means, about these General Terms & Conditions, the competition questions, the mechanics of the competition, or the result of the contest.

14. 15. Not complying with these General Terms & Conditions and any attempt of fraud or cheating will result in forfeiture of any prize of any kind. In this event, the prize that would have been awarded following these General Terms & Conditions will be returned to the contest. KMDA reserves the right to exclude everyone from the contest who has cheated, committed fraud, or tried to bypass these General Terms & Conditions.

16. KMDA cannot be held liable for:

- the cancellation or the alteration of the date, the place, or the additional circumstances related to the prize or the event which entails the prize, by a decision outside the will of KMDA, whether it is a decision of the organisers of the prize, the authorities or the winner.

17. Because the winner is selected exclusively by an IT procedure, the organisers cannot be held liable for defects in the networks, losses, delays, or deficiencies caused by the internet or by technical suppliers involved in the sending of the forms and the hosting of the website.

18. The winner agrees to cooperate with promotional campaigns that will be organised in conjunction with assigning and awarding of the prize.
